The Black Pass is your SocialFi gateway to the Astra Nova universe. This exclusive access pass offers players a range of benefits, including $RVV token airdrops, early access to new content, and unique in-game rewards. The Black Pass is designed to reward the most dedicated members of the Astra Nova community, offering them a chance to shape the game's future.

Accessing Black Pass is free for everyone via a soulbound NFT, which is minted at the time of joining. Once inside the platform, users undertake social quests and farm shards (points) to earn the $RVV token airdrop.

The overarching purpose of Black Pass is to reward early Astra Nova adopters, build the community, and educate members about everything there is to know about the Astra Nova universe.

To do this, players complete various quests, including playing the game demo and engaging with the Astra Nova social media profiles. Most social media quests are focused on X (formerly Twitter), involving things like retweeting tweets, content creation, and engagement quests, each rewarding users with shards.

The first Season of Black Pass is centered around the launch of the game demo and the $RVV token. With Astra Nova planned as a long-term project, that also means there will be multiple seasons of Black Pass, each with its own focus. Season 2 will focus on introducing the community to our partners.

Every quest is completed on-chain, meaning fees are associated with claiming shards (a few cents on the Immutable zk-EVM network). Astra Nova provides each user with 20 free transactions on the Black Pass platform to help reduce out-of-pocket expenses.

It is recommended that users refrain from “updating the Black Pass” until sometime near the end of Season 1, which will be announced on our social media channels. Users don’t need to continually update their stats for every single quest as that only wastes the free transactions, leading to additional, unnecessary costs.
